When I read about the signings of Molitor, Winfield Morris and Stewart, I &#039;m struck by two points.

One. The salaries paid then are a mere pittance compared to 2016.

Two. That the management of the Blue Jays in the early 90&#039;s were not afraid to hire expensive, proven talent. 

May the Jays do the same in this off season.
