How much *hitting* talent have the Jays successfully developed in the past say 5 or even 10 years?

Fwiw, on the current 40-man, there are just 4 field players who've come through the system. Pillar is only about MLB-average with the bat, Pompey has potential but remains unproven, Burns seems to have a low ceiling, and the other is Goins.

In addition, do you consider anyone on the Buffalo roster to be a good home-grown hitting prospect?

Go and look up what bo bichette said after being drafted by the jays... tells you something about the importance of player development...which the bluejays have been very successful at developing young talent...
